help me please thank you so much<3
They are all asexual.
Binary fission- Splitting into two approximately equal halves.
Amoeba
Budding: Similar to binary fission except for an unequal split. A small “bud” grows on the parent organism, grows and then breaks free.
Yeast cell
Bulb: A modified lower plant stem composed of concentric rings of tissue.
A new plant can arise out of this bulb.
Onion
Cloning: A haploid egg’s nucleus is replaced with a nucleus from a diploid somatic cell.
Has been done with frogs and other animals.
Parthenogenesis: An egg cell develops into a new organism without being fertilized.
In nature; bees
Polyembryony: A single fertilized egg divides into two or more embryos.
In nature: Nine banded armadillo
Rhizomes:An underground stem that develops shoots &roots, thus
increasing the distribution of the plant.
Many lawn grasses, like Bermuda grass.
Tuber: A modified lower part of a stem that can grow “eyes”. These
“eyes” can develop into a new plant.
White potato
